the power of words

This is a working list of words, phrases and concepts related to equity and anti-racism work. This is not an exhaustive list, nor can it ever be complete.  Language evolves as people and societies grow and change. Thus, this resource will act as a living document; entries will be added and meaning will develop as we do the work of growing equitable learning environments.

The purpose of the list is to provide a shared language that will facilitate learning and understanding of foundational concepts, communicate that understanding more effectively, and make more informed decisions as we take action to build equity in our respective communities.
