It is time.

We are all in need of care.

Searching for words to describe what we need can be difficult.  As the world around us feels harder and more challenging to navigate, it is critical to care for our mental and emotional wellness as we carry both the blessings and the burdens of our times.

Children are the most vulnerable.

Children and youth are in special need of extra care.  The gaps in learning and growth have widened exponentially.  We can hope to serve those carrying the greatest burdens and offer resources to better grow the gifts and talents of the next generation to meet the challenges of the future.

Research shows that creative arts and nature appreciation boost wellness.

Wellness programs require both flexibility and focused, localized response.

Wellness programs require both flexibility and focused, localized response.

Before COVID-19, arts programs at public schools were already limited.  Access to the natural world was often a one day field trip experience that coincided with the science curriculum.  Mental health care providers in schools were a rare and overworked resource. Now, learners have an even greater need to practice creativity and imagination, connect to nature, and develop social and emotional growth that supports mental health.

ARTS2GO is an expediate response to the spectrum of care needed now and in the future. Our mobilized unit delivers a creative wellness program directly to learners.

Program appointments can be made in advance around a schedule that also holds space for on-call urgent care. Programs can be offered hourly, daily, or weekly on a sliding scale. Those who can contribute more can support urgent care for vulnerable learners.
